Question about 2003 RS
I own a 2003 Silver 2.5RS and I am in the process of looking for a good intake. Looking into Injen/Blitz/Cobb...Mostly into Injen. Also looking into excel Rims and Tein Springs. Now to my question...Is the engine bay differant so that I won't be able to fit a WRX Model intake or a 2002 Intake? Will a 2002 Intake fit in my 2003 RS...Pretty sure the WRX one won't do it, just curious. Wondering if anything else is differant that i don't have to worry about. Thank you if you can help....Kinda new to this

If you are wrong I will come for you ...I knew the WRX - RS wasn't gonna work, but i didn't know if the engine bay differed between 2000-2003. Not many companies say 2003 2.5RS, only 2002.
I know i shouldn't be asking the question here, but what intake would be the best for a 2.5RS? Injen,Cobb,AEM, or Perrin? And NOT go over 400 Dollars...
And thanks a lot for the answers!

i drive a 2002 rs and i purchased the cobb intake and i could not be any happier. Great sound, i definately noticed some gains and it looks beautiful. You really cant go wrong with cobb. yeah you may pay a little extra but you definately get what you pay for.
i would highly recommend the cobb intake, as will many others on this board. cobb is very well respected.
this is just heresay so take it for what its worth but i remember reading bad reviews about the injen, and people who purchased them not being satisfied and switching to cobb.. again thats just what i have read. i only have experience with the cobb intake.
good luck

Why do you think AEM sucks, all the tuners around here like aem. I'll have a look into cobb before I go for an AEM
edit:
just looked at cobb's site, the stage one kit seems kick ****, two things I wanted in one, question is, is it really worth $835?

good choice, you certainly wont regret it. As said earlier, cobb puts their focus on subaru tuning, i believe they did rx7s for a while but im pretty sure now they are just subaru. They make quality products that will get you results. Have fun!
