whats up all..... i parked when i got to the restuarant and noticed some anti freeze under my car.popped the hood and the over flow bottle was frothed up with anti freeze and thats were it was coming from. after the froth died down there was very little left. after dinner i filled the over flow to the full mark. i drove about 2 miles and parked it for an hour...all good. went to get gas, drove about 5 miles then parked it.....all good.........just wondering if anyone knows what happened, i drove as usual, nothing to hard or out of the ordinary. this has never happened before. im going out tonight, hope things dont turn ugly on me.

it was boiling off, the steam and you just happeened to get some to fill up in the overflow tub,
i would just put more green stuff in, the concentrate, with the existing stuff to tuffin up the water in there. then again you could get the coolant system purged and cleaned if you have never done that it is almost 5 yrs old.

 

the coolant has been changed before.... you saying to add more anti frz,less water in the mix ?? i think i have a 60/40 mix in there now.... it hasnt happened anymore,but i keep an eye on it.

Could be a sign of a bad head gasket

 

ohh no not the head gasket........lol...im in denial..........you know where i can get an engine "diagram", so i know where everything is.....gaskets,thermostat.....o2 sen, fuel filter etc. just stuff labeled so i can figure out where things are and try to fix things more. much thanks for your help , later...out
