Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Noobie here

Hello all, my girlfreind just purchased a 96 Imprezza Outback 2.2L AWD yesterday for $2000. It has highmiles but the car seemed to run perfect besides needing new brake pads. We both love it so far but is there anything we should look out for (I am sure you have been asked his a bajillion times). Thanks!

Depends how many miles are on the car. Can you be more specific?

Hey, congrats and welcome. I have a 96 sedan with 196K and the sucker still runs like a champ! I rally it all day and she never let's me down. Just keep up with the maintainance and everything should be fine.
Cheers!
