i have been lookin at many websites, and i can never find any mods for my 97 Impreza 2.2L sedan. i have heard from some friends that many of the parts in the 97 2.5RS will fit in the 2.2L. is this true?? and if not does anyone know where i can find mods on any websites for mine?? please let me know

 

Uh. There isn't any 97 Impreza 2.5RS. The RS started out in 98, right?

I think most parts for the 2.5RS will fit for the Impreza L though. I have a '97 L coupe and yeah. I haven't really touched it yet, but it'll be cool.

Oh. Vivid Racing has a nice collection of stuff for the 2.5RS. You might want to check it out. I've never bought from them, but yeah. I guess it would be a good place to start in terms of research.

I think that most chassis/suspension related items for the 98-01 2.5RS will fit in your L. Engine related items are probably a little different.

well i am really not sure about the 97 l but i have a 98 l and all the parts for the 2.5 will fit on it suspension and body wise anyway no engine stuff. but that doesnt really matter to me right now because i am planing a swap so it suspension brakes wheels and tires for me right now till i get my ej20 in there

 

Yeah. Suspension stuff pretty much will work.

My mechanic was able to install the Perrin lightweight pulley from a WRX into my L. You might want to consider that.

 

So the aftermarket body kits from the 98-01 will fit on 97's?
