lighter flywheel, cel codes??

just installed a lighter act flywheel (10.6) on my 2000 rs. I have gotten misfire codes on cylinders 2 and 4. Recently it has kinda gone away after I reset them. Is it possible that the ecu had to learn the new flywheel?

Could be from the extra load taken off from the weight difference. If it does it again I'd get it looked at. I just got a Exedy clutch and flywheel and I'm waiting for the weather to get warmer before I toss it in. Hope it doesn't happen to mine. Try a reset and hope for the best.

I have a JUN in mine, no problems whatsoever... I'd get it checked if they pop back up, seems odd.

well that pesky light seems to have gone away. guess it had to learn it. Thanks everybody and good luck with your projects.

FWI...It's been said that anything lighter than 12lbs can cause CEL codes with EJ-25 Engines.

I bought the Exedy one (12.9lbs) and have not thrown a CEL yet....
