Hey everyone, im new to the subaru community, well i hooked my car to the obd2 system and says my knock sensor is bad, is this hazordous, or what, any info would be greatly apprecitaed.

I have a 97 impreza, 2.2 awd, i have an automatic, injen cai, apexi N1 full exaust,if there are any other things i can do, let me know.

 

if your car is running fine u should put it on a list of things to do. a knock sensor is designed to retard timing so you dont blow stuff up aka detonate
