Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Just Got My Part's From Rallitek

Ok, so I got a 2006 2.5i and I just recieved my headers and exhaust. Well instead of sending the Rallitek exhaust, I got the new Espelir JGT500. I like it so on it shall go. I have a question about installing the mid pipe. Do I have to replace the gasket to the headers or can I use the same one? When I get everything on I will post some pics and vid's.

Thanks

If I were you I'd just replace the gasket. It's just a few bucks so why not do it rather than have to redo your exhaust cause you have a leak afterwards. Just my 2 cents

If its a new car you might be ok with the one on there, really maters if the heat has cause it to bond to either surface yet 'cause it breakage as you take the parts apart

ahhh haaa. I didn't know that. The car was purchased back in i think August, I can't remember. Since I have had the car it has seen alot of driving so I doubt they are still good then. You think Subaru would carry an oxygen sensor spacer? The one I ordered with everything from rallitek is on back order and who know's when that will come. I can't stand waiting to put on parts. Everything is laid out in my living room just sitting there begging to be put on. AHHHH!!!

why are any of u guys putting headers on??? your going to lose the hp u added with everything else cause yur changing your equal length headers...your going to get no gain...anyways tell me how the pp6 goes and if it helps and def how yur rallitek exhaust sounds, how big is the pipe 2 and 1/2 inch, 3 whatever, and if there are any gains...also how do u like the CAI...i wanted a short ram cause i was worried about water getting in...let me know how it goes

you do realize the rallitek headers are EQUAL length headers right? They are also the same headers as the OBX equal length headers. I doubt there will be any gains, but if there is, a maximum of 5hp + a nicer engine sound.

There will be gains ~ the '06 has equal length, but have you looked at them? They are far from lovely bends and 1st class work... like all OEM exhaust they cut corners to save $$$. You get what you pay for...

Enjoy your RalliTEK headers and the new tailpipe tunes!

Equal lengths will make a decent gain in HP. But you realize they will get rid of the boxer sound. It will still sound good, just more like, BRAHHHHHHH! instead of BOP-BOP-BOP!!!

burton your tellin me man, I can't wait either. Just looking at the exhaust sitting there waiting is killen me. I'm hoping to recieve the rest of the parts by the end of next week, but im still waiting to get notice on when my stupid oxygen sensor spacer will be shipped. I ordered it with the exhaust on december 2nd and it has been on back order, i'm starting to wonder if i really need it. well after talking with rallitek and them realizing they over charged me for the exhaust, I had them take that difference and send me an undrive pulley and that SHOULD come by next week also. I got a question for you guys, rallitek said for the mid pipe to connect to the headers it would re-use the donut there...ok..well what about the headers to the engine? should i be able to use gaskets for a stock impreza headers and are those easy to find?

Once I have everything I would like to get it dynoed, but i dont know of any places that are less then an hour drive away. I tell ya, all the **** i bought from them i should be sponsored haha. ahhh damn it i hate waiting..
