Injen Cold Intake..

Okay, I have a 98 RS, and am tired of waiting for COBB to decide to release its intake for my MAF car. Has anybody tried the Injen Cold Intake that puts the filter in the fender? I would assume it would measure up pretty well, I just want to hear from some people actually running it, or even better if they have tried to compare them
which is of course a long shot. Ive decided after a rather hot summer that I would REALLY like to have something to get my car breathing cold air. Think the insulating wrap will work pretty well on there too... bwahaah....

i'm running the injen cai on my 98 rs. the sound is amazing, and a little hp gain, and maybe a little torque loss. all which are expected. from what i have heard cobb and injen are about the same in terms of gains, but most people prefer cobb, because they are a little cheaper and well because they are COBB. I haven't had any problems at all. you will love it the first week you have it, cause the sound is so much better with it. i would say go for it.

Just remove your intake silencer for now and drop in a panel filter. And use a small piece of abs or pvc piping to bridge the resultant 5mm gap. That'll get your motor breathing cold air along with less intake restriction untill you can save enough money to buy the AEM.
