Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

I want more power ....

Unhappy I want more power ....

okay guys,
I have a 03 impreza with 2.0 N/A engine (( EJ20 with 120Hp )), and I want more power so what should I do??
is it possible to bore the engine block and make it 2500cc (( or +2500cc )), if so then would these fit on my EJ20 crankshaft and rods.

I know that would be much easier but that will cost me alot of money just for the shipping (( I live in the middle east )) and it really hard to find a 2.5 engine cuz they are very rare in here, so I guess that bore the engine from 2.0 to 2.5 is the easest/cheapest way for more power, but all I need to know is if it's possible on a 2.0 engine!!

No, it would be cheaper and easier to just swap in any of the 2.5l engines. You may want to stick to n/a, since your car wasn't origionally equipped with a turbo engine, you will run into alot of problems with wiring and harnesses.
Check out the kits COBB tuning makes for the USDM n/a engines....

more power

(1) the n/a engines have different blocks and heads than the turbo motors, so it is risky to turbo the n/a motors. the turbo engines are more reinforced and have closed deck heads.

(2) get a 2.5 single cam engine or get a new car.

(3) see # 2 above again
