Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

HP from Cobb tuning Stage 1 kit for RS/TS??

Does anyone know what kind of HP/Torque I can expect with the Cobb Stage 1 kit for the RS/TS (2004 model)????

Also, how loud is that exhaust they provide? The last thing I want is a fart can.

I should have been more specific. I was asking about the intake/exhaust kit

Sounds cool. It won't wake up the neighbors when I come home will it?

How does it sound inside the car? Is it annoying driving at 70 on a couple hour trip?

Probably around 175 or so. You have a TS or RS? The wagons are louder.

I've got a TS. Why would the wagon be louder?

Resonants more in the hatch. I don't think it's that loud, but that kind of stuff doesn't bother me that much. It sounds good regardless.

I just bought the stage 1 from Rallitek for my legacy and its awesome. It includes borla headers in addition to the stage 1 from cobb and its only a lil more $. Mine sounds awesome, sorta porsche like but a little raspier and deeper. Relatively quiet until it hits 5000 rpm and your hard on the gas. It will NEVER be mistaken for a honda. So my advice is check out rallitek (www.rallitek.com).

That actually looks like a nice deal. Only thing is they don't have the kit for a 2004 2.5TS specifically. I assume if it works on the 2003 it should work on the 2004.

It will. Cobb's intake is a lot better though.

A stage 1 Cobb RS is faster than the stage I Rallitek, I would lay money on it. The Cobb intake is light years better than the crap Rallitek sells. The borlas aren't really good for much ppower, just a better sound.

So is the concensus here that COBB kicks A$$?? Cause i just got the cold air intake and love it. Great sound and noticable gains from my old short-ram. But now i'm thinkin bout exaust. Got a few hundred bucks and wonderin if i should just go all out and get the COBB exaust. What u think???? How much of a diffrence will there be?

Their exhaust is nothing special. Get what you think sounds best. I'd say stick with 2.25" piping, but others will disagree.

I second the 2.25" piping. I have that size with a custom midpipe and Magnaflow singletip, and I couldn't be happier with it.
