How many pieces are there for intake?
how many piece are there for a stock wrx intake?
- the air box itself (2 pieces)
- the scoop from grill to fender (1 piece)
- from air box to turbo (?x? pieces)
- reserve air box under the scoop (1 piece)
Help? I recently purchased the stock intake from a member here. and I only got the air box and reserve air box. Since I don't have a wrx and don't want to go to the dealership right now. I would like to know exactly what I am missing before I go crazy on the guy.

Sheesh, someone should be kind enough to go out and count the components to their stock intake. I'd do it but I have an '01 RS. Sorry mang.
EDIT: uh, yeah, maybe this should be posted in the factory turbo forum...

Yeah I was at Green Valley today getting a PCV valve and fuel filter, should have asked. Better that I didn't though, the guy was brand spankin' new to the business, let alone Subarus. Anyways, I had to order the valve and filter! Standard maintenance items on the 15k and 30k services, and they weren't in stock! What a crock! Next time it'll be WWW.subaruwrxparts.com, Exeter Subaru in the East coast, or Subaruparts.com, which is Tacoma Subaru. Both are great, but Exeter has much more aftermarket goodness.
