my 95 impreza is hicuping and bucking at moderate throttle from 1500-2700 rpms
there is also black soot deposits on my bumper and im not sure exactly what the problem is but i havent changed wires from a long time but could it be something else?

 

which wires are you talking about - spark plug wires? have you had a tune-up in a while?

 

ya i did plugs and wires because its been about 30k miles and the plugs where very rounded but it still hicups ever so lightly in that range so im going to try a crank trigger sensor to so if it can be gotten rid of completely
