I have installed a
Injen intake to my 06 2.5i
had to customize to fit but works great except that My car keeps throwing codes and having me run lean

does anyone now if its the intake of mybe my catback exhaust
im soo frustrated!!!! do want to go back to stock

that's wierd, you shouldn't be throwing any codes with those 2 mods.
Did you reset the ECU after installing them?
Did your car throw the code RIGHT after you installed ONLY the intake?
If it is, then probably it's the intake MAF sensor, or maybe one hose is out of place or loose?

 

checked hoses...all there and tight

The code never came up without the intake

code comes up after any period of time over 70mph
highway driving!!

dont know what to do except either running lean all the time or return to stock
neither sound fun

BTY: Would eibach springs for a 02 RS fit a 06 2.5i?

 

did you try giving it more gas
sorry I just had to. but in all honesty why not call injen and see what they say tell them what you just told us (that it was fine till you used there intake)
See what they say.

 

did you install the MAF sensor backwards?



and for your other question, NO 02/03 springs will not fit on a 06/07 2.5i. (top hats are different)
