Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Help again, grounging kits

I have a 05 rs and I'm looking for a little more power. I don't want anything drastic, mostly I'm looking to improve the responsiveness. I was wondering if a grounding kit will offer a noticable improvment on a stock motor. I am also looking into intakes as well. I don't race my car but occasionally I play. Any advice on grounding kits would be great. Also, I'm worried about cai's in messy weather, is this something I should really be concerned about?
Thanks Again
Joe

If that's too much work...

In a nutshell. A grounding kit is no speed/performance mod (despite the hoopla). If your factory grounds are crap, you will feel a smoother idle, perhaps a wee brighter lights and a smoother run to redline after the mod. If your ground system is not old ~ then the gain will be insignificant to both you and your car.

It can't hurt a thing adding one (I did) and makes for some nice 'engine dress up'. The best out there and cleanest to look at is over on rs25.com ~ Paranoid Fabrications ~

Thanks, I searched but I wasn't getting the info that I was looking for. I appreciate the input. I have an 05 so the grounding shouldn't be worn out, but that doesn't mean it's working as well as it can. thanks again.

Try a lightened pulley or maybe a TC if you have EAT. Feels good in the Butt Dyno but nothing on paper though.
