H&R Intake...more harm than good?
H&R Intake...more harm than good?
Hello all,
The previous owner of my car installed an H&R intake. I was just wondering if this is helping me get more power or is it holding back the power potential of this car. Don't get me wrong it goes pretty well as is, but if I can squeeze a little more water out of this rock by putting the stock airbox back on then that would be better. Thanks in advance for any answers I may recieve.

oops sorry
It is an AEM intake. I'm having trouble with my camera right now, but its just a normal curved tube type of intake with a cone filter on the end of it. I've seen in other posts that stock airbox set ups are sometimes just as good, so that's is why I asked about it.

It's not really doing any harm, assuming it's installed properly. Might as well keep it on. It's not really giving you that much power over the stock airbox either, so it's up to you, it won't make much difference without other mods.
