Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

It really depends on the shop and how they decide to make the catback. Some shops will use cut pieces of mandrel bent pipe, it usually costs more and takes more welding, but it will negate crush bending issues. Other shops try to minimise the crush bends, and do a pretty good job of it, others dont... Check and see what kind of work that specific shop does, and if they use alot of crush bends, the 2.5" might be a good idea.

When I had my custom midpipe made, the shop I took it to managed to use just like one slight bend and that was it: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...55284377ZyqGzd

The resonator is more about livability, some people cant live with the drone.

It will sound excellent, ive heard 3 RS's now with magnaflows, all sound perfect. The non-resonated one is definatly quieter inside the car, and it still sounds great. The non-resonated, especially with like borla headers, is loud. Its not the loudest N/A impreza ive heard, but it is pretty loud.
