exhaust piping
I was looking at some exhausts for a 2002 2.5 rs. haveing trouble finding some i started asking around and found from one guy that he had an exhaust that would fit a mine. but it had three inch piping. I was talking to my friend and he said that it would bog down the engine cause of it's size. but if alot of exhausts were made like that it would probably work. so i guess i was mostly cerious on what size piping would be good for this car.... thanks.

2.5" *can* work okay, but common thought is that it's still a bit too large to be "ideal." 3.0" is absolutely too big.
For a turbo Impreza, 2.5" is ideal, though 3.0" is often used for very high-powered examples (aftermarket-tuned).
