Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Dropping the Crossmember

i am wondering what would be involved in dropping the crossmember. i want to leave the engine in place and insert a new crossmember.

What all do i need to disconect? (ie control arms, sway bar)
will disconnecting al this stuff severely mess with my alignement?

How long will this x-member swap take (assumign i have all parts and tools neccesary)?

are there any special tools i will need?

do i need to remove the steering rack?

Thanks alot!
