Catback: Greddy, Blitz, or Borla
Catback: Greddy, Blitz, or Borla
Like many others, I'm looking to enhance the "deep throaty" sound of the boxer without waking up the entire neighborhood. After doing some homework, I think these three meet my criteria. Does anybody have a better description on any or all of these systems both HP and soundwise (ie. sounds at idle, low, mid, high range throttle, droning, etc.) ? Keep in mind that this will be my first engine mod when I get my car so there will be no aftermarket header, down/up pipe, etc. Bone stock. Thanks in advance.

Don't forget Stromung- almost nobody says they don't like the sound, although there is some disagreement about how loud it is (everyone's standards are different on that one).

I'm in the same boat as you DoubleU RX, I'm looking for an exhaust that will give a nice sound, but not too loud. I'm also looking for decent HP gains and good looks at the tip - not too ricey. I don't know about Stormung, but I'm leaning towards Borla, but I need to look to Strumung too.
Any advise for myself or DoubleU RX would help.
Thanks, Andy
