Was looking at performance options thats out their for subaru impreza RS since im hopefully getting one in next couple months. I noticed the exhaust systems available, and they seem to include piping that bypasses the catalytic converter. I know if you dont run a cat on most 4 cylinders the motor backfires a lot. Is this the same with subaru's Horizontal motors? Just curious. roy

 

I have a track pipe on my car, and it dosent backfire too much.
