Is there a cai that fits my car? If not, what are my options to increase the performance of my car. I'm obviously a new Impreza owner. Thanks for any help.

I have an injen cai on my car. It's made for the 98 2.5rs and i have it on my99 2.2 it wil work with minimal modification.

 

Thanks Sumo. Also, have you removed your silencer. I read hundreds of posts about whether or not it makes a difference, and I still don't know if it does or doesn't. Thanks

 

I have a 1998 2.2L impreza and the N-1 bolted directly onto my cat without any problems. I also have an Injen cold air intake installed. You can also replace your spark plugs with iridium ones which actually makes a noticable difference in performance. Also, Borla developed headers for the 2.2L.

 

Thanks for the info Imprazian. I'll definitely do the spark plugs--a little short on cash right now.
