Trust me, I'd love to get some Cobb or TWE's, but I just can't put up the cash for it. Setting up a group buy ought to show you why I can't afford either of those. For new college student, every 20 bucks you can get counts.

The 2.2l dual port header is exactly the same as the 2.5l header. You need to check if your car has single or dual exhaust ports to see which one you need.

No, I'm referring to how many exhaust ports are on each head. Older 2.2l designs had each cylinder sharing one exhaust port. The ones that have 2 ports on each head are the same as the EJ25/EJ18 header.
what about the ones that share 1? I have a 99 OBS, with only 1 outlet (I think)? Do the headers fit and if so do they do anything? Or is the current thing essentially the same as headers since both sides go and meet in the middle w/ only 1 per side making everything equal length??? THanx

There is a single port model of the borla headers. You can't use the standard 2 port header. Any vendor should know the difference between the two.

Hey Ban, maybe you know since it seems you know about the header a little. I have it on my car and I have a crack. Now here's the problem, I don't have my stock header and I can't be without my car and I really don't wanna buy someones stock header either. I thought I remembered someone on this board or nasioc that worked for borla and thought he said you can weld it and still keep the warrenty and they will re-emberse you for the weld job. Do you know who I'm talking about or who I could ask. Thanks.

Yeah, just go get it welded. Try to find a reference for a local shop. Have it fixed (it should be very cheap) then call Borla about it. In fact, it wouldn't hurt to call them first to discuss it, but I know that other people have taken this route. Also, be prepared to prove that you actually bought something from them.

Yeah, I just wanna make sure that they won't void the warrenty. I have a friend who has an exhaust shop and he said even if he welds it, it will probably keep cracking. So if that doesn't work then I will want new ones. I don't know if I have the recipt but I do have my statement showing they took the money out.
