hey y'all, just bought a new 07' 2.5i and want to tune a bit. i've read through several threads and there's some pretty useful stuff on here. thanks! i want to add a cai and to my understanding the cai's for the wrx will fit. can anyone verify that? also what brand has the best performance and is most reliable? any feedback greatly appreciated!!!

 

I dont know if the WRX CAI would work cause of the whole turbo thing. the best thing you could do is find an 06-07 WRX and see if the intake for that is in the same relative location. also dont forget about your MAF sensor, again not sure if its in the same place or even its the same diameter which would effect the pipe size. on my 06 2.5i im using a piece of aluminum pipe and basically just having a cool air setup. i noticed a great improvment in low end with it cause of my 3inch cat back exhaust.

i don't believe the WRX intake will work because of the turbo and intercooler....the intake doesn't bolt to the manifold like it does on the NA cars

For cold air you have alot of people using Injen and Cobb, for short air alot of people will swear about the Weapon R. I have the Injen and like it, tho I only have expernce with it so i'm not going to make any "best" claims
