i have borla headers and catless t.w.e. pipes to a stromung muff.
if i had to do it again, id get t.w.e. headers and catles pipes to an hks muff. it sounds unbelievable. by far the meaniest exhaust sound possible. search for sound clips.
dont get borlas they crack!! yes, even the new ones!!

I always thought that it would be cool to go to a Porsche exhaust shop and have a custom Porsche exhaust put on my wrx. I would go do it, but I'm sure the cost is way to high! I would assume that if you had that setup, that it would give you the best boxer sound. Do you guys know if anyone has ever done that?

Does it get really cold out there in the winter?? Could the headers have changed temps too fast and cracked? Maybe a snow bank would do it if they were nice and hot and got sprayed with snow.....that's a bummer dude. Hopefully it works out for you.

This is too back and forth with the Borlas. I really want them, mainly because they're easily afforded, as opposed to say TWEs, but cracked gen 4s?? Have a lot of people cracked the gen 4s?
I'm sorry but I don't see them 'just cracking' without being hit, maybe by a rock, or something. Maybe rattling? I don't know but it just seems strange.
