i just bought my first car which is the 2.5i a month ago. i was just wondering if there are any performance upgrades for it. like cold air intake, etc. i kinda looked everywhere and i couldn't find any. will i have to wait for a long time because all i see for it is just some oil filter.. bleh..

i'm not really looking forward to go all out and make my car super fast but instead look nice and have at least some upgrades. i heard intake and exhaust helps with the mileage as well. my friends told me about the boxer enging noise when you put in an exhaust n' stuff.

btw, is it possible to put in the s204 lip kit on the 2.5i? i mean,.. the front looks pretty much the same but all i see is for the wrx/sti? i checked out vivid racing and its freakin $1600!

 

You might want to try the 'search' button. Your car is the same as an '05 ~ everything works that'll work for an '05... end of clues!

Oh yeah, if you want to play you need to pay.

 

As for chassis and dimensions, the 05' - 06' models are almost completely simliar.

Engine wise, you won't be able to fit an aftermarket intake on an 05' engine and transfer it to the 06' engine. ( Both engines have different setups due to the new I-valve system)

Springs + shocks for 05' models can be transfered to 06's.
There are only limited things you can play with regarding the 2.5i at the time being . . . . but sooner or later there will be available mods. You just have to play the waiting game . . . :P
