Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

2.5ts wagon exhaust

hey guys,
i dont know if this is a repost or not but i did my best to find this thread somewhere else and couldnt. anyway i want to get an exhaust for my 2002 2.5ts. there a a couple of exhausts out there specifically for my car but i was wondering if a catback for the GC8 chassis would bolt up or if i would have to modify the exhaust because i am finding a lot of good exhausts for thoes rs's. or if someone has a better idea or knows of a place i can get a good exhaust for my car at a good price, please tell me. all suggestions are considered. i am looking to spend around 400 to 500

What did you find out? I glanced at the STi parts to see if the had the same parts refernced for the two chassis of the same year, but they didn't have an exhaust listed for the TS

RS , TS , Foresters from the same year have the same exhaust, the parts are identical and can be used on any of this 3 cars with 2.5liter engines. All my Forester parts are from 2.5rs from different years, I got aftermarket intake from a 00-01 Map based and Full exhaust including Borla header made for 2.5rs 98-2005 an still fits, also go a Wrx axel back that fits the forester. HOpe this helps

i got borla catback for the 2001 rs and my friend is doing a motor swap into his 99 rs and im going to buy the borla headers from him. the catback is in the mail right now and im pretty sure it will bolt up but from what i understand the last exhaust hanger on the muffler dosent quite line up but you can make it fit or whatever... im sure my car will sound much better when i get that on there. im not expecting too much power gain though

this is it!!! it has a nice quiet deep sound. its not broken in yet so im sure it will be louder. the way it sounds right now i can play my stero at volume 15 and hear everything perfectly. the first thing i noticed when i test drove it is the bottom end power it gained. also the trhottle response is a lot better. hope this info helps anyone in the market for an exhaust for this car.
