Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

1/4 mile times

Just wondering what kind of times I could expect with my minutely upgraded 98 rs. I have CAI, Stromung catback, and Borla header. I was thinking maybe high 15s??? Anybody have anything to add?

I have almost the same setup as for as power mods, and I think it depends on the launch and how much clutch you still have. For me, I ran 16.1-3 all day at the track the first time I took it. I was running the same times on the G-Tech consistantly untill I had my clutch replaced under warranty. I didnt realize how bad it was, after that I touched 15.5-6 with a Sub 2 second 60 ft times on a few occasions, but usually 15.8 to 16.1 is an average.

I think I will be able to touch in the low 15's with a track pipe, and a lightend -pulley, and in the mid 15's on average.

Finally got on the track. I ran, at best, 16.276 (missing 4th momentarily) at 81 mph. My two others were both 16.367 @ around 83 each. So i guess I'm a little disappointed, going by what you all said. I wonder what a solid stock time is. Cause I'm guessing my mods haven't helped me much. Taken away torque, gained some hp maybe. Surely my clutch wouldn't give me over a half second. Any other suggestions?

Do you have any more information about your runs? 60ft time, 330ft time, 1/8th mile speed and time.

I dont know, ive seen RS's with less run 15.3. Your clutch, if it is slipping, is worth a few tenths for sure.
