Stay away from headers, period.
If all you will have is aftermarket intake and some exhaust....don't bother with headers. Headers won't be any use to you until you have a lot of other stuff done. Trust me, you'll end up spending atleast like 3x more on your supporting mods for headers than just the headers alone

Hey,
I just re-read what I posted, didn't mean to sound like an @ss.
I have maddad catless header w/ corresponding uppipe, but that's only after I upgraded my turbo, injectors, oil pan, oil pump, oil pickup tube, etc etc. An aftermarket header is a great choice for power gain and spool up, but be prepared to spend some money on them.
I think you'll be fine with your intake and axleback for now. Are you running any aftermarket downpipe/uppipe? Or is it all stock? You really should considering making an investment for a catless downpipe/uppipe, or at least a catless downpipe to take advantage of your exhaust/intake, just my thoughts.
Let me know how it all turns out!
