Post What Turbo to upgrade to? (2.5 using 91 octane)

So I have a friend with a mostly stock STi wanting to upgrade his vf39.

His end goal is 300-315 whp (its his daily driver as well).

He already knows he will need turbo, fuel pump, injectors and a tune.

DOES NOT WANT run meth or E85.

There are lots of threads about this but using 93 octane or E85, couldnt really find any set ups using 91.

Cliff note:
So whats the best 91 octane turbo upgrade on a daily driver to reach 300-315 whp?

Yup, I have been searching most of the day and it seems like all the good info is about e85 or 93 octane.

why does he want to change the turbo, i have seen many people with the right supporting mods and a badass tuner like ed@EQTUNING produce similiar numbers safely, damn I dont have to much done to my car and i still made 315 hp and 335 trq with my stock turbo on 91 oct. no upgraded injectors or fuel pump, or headers, jus had ed@eqtuning work his magic!!

I had TD06 20G 8cm with supporting mods (drop in filter, turbo inlet, injectors, pump, Spearco TMIC, turbo back) making a safe 310whp/310wtq (GST's mustang dyno) on 91 octane at 20 psi tapering down to 18 toward redline. This was on a 2006 WRX TR.
