Has anyone installed APS DR725 FMIC on a 2006 STi? I would like to know what exactly was cut on bumper to make fit. Just got mine today and will be installing soon. Would really help if someone could show me pics of where they cut the bumper. Thank you so very much in advance.

 

I just installed a precision FMIC on my 06 and the measurements were 31x8x3 and believe me when I tell you alot or the front bumber has to be cut basically that whole black piece has to come out . I notice the APS is 28x9.5x4.5 you'll have your work cut out for you with that one. Here are 2 pics of mine.

Oh yea make sure the kit is for an o6 , because Subaru relocated the water sprayer bottle to the driverside front fender which makes it alittle tight for the pipings. I can't tell from the pic on their web site but you might have to also relocate your radiator overflow bottle , they have cheap aluminum ones on ebay for $14 .

 

Damn i actually think this IC looks better on the 06 than on the 05, i like how you can see a little bit of the piping/silicone connectors.
