it is smaller... i had one on my wrx, i really wouldnt reccomend it for an sti.

Dude! I told you before you got that 22 to go bigger! You have a 2.5l that can spin a large turbo very easily. Look what an sr-50 does on the STI. It still adds more power than stock at lower RPM's. The gas preasure is ideal for larger turbos.

Plus VF's are limited to cfm to support a max output of 350hp.
