VF22 on 04 STi. Inj. size?

Hey guys,
I was able to come up on a cheap VF22 and was was wondering what size injectors would you recommend? I have an 04 STi w/ TBE, Accesport, up-pipe and Cobb intake. Thanks!

why upgrade to another VF series....its not worth the hassle IMHO...

to answer your question, tuned conservatively the stock injectors will be ok(not idea but ok) but upgrade the fuel pump.

Well, I normally wouldn't but for a small price(I will be doing the installation as well) I can gain nearly 30-40whp over a stage 2 STi, 280ish whp compared to 315-330 whp which is my goal. I know I have to get injectors and a pump, just wondering if the 860cfm injectors are overkill, if they are will they cause any damage to my engine or hinder performance?

I seriously doubt you see that much gain w/ the VF22 & 860cc injectors are overkill.

I've done some reearch on this particular turbo and people have been getting 310+whp as well as running high 11's in the qurater mile. $400(how much I'm buying the VF22) is a small price tag to pay if I can get those kind of numbers.

Sounds like numbers are with the 2.0 engine which this turbo does very well on(aside from the spool), but with the 2.5 it doesn't do too much, maybe 5-10 more whp than stock(typically). I was told this when I was going to get the same turbo for my 04 STi.

Turbochargers.com is selling 18g's for $699 all you'll need is injectors and fuel pump. You'll fair better with an that, picking up 325+whp or so easy !

I've read about a guy or 2 with the vf22 puttin down 300+whp but it took some really good tuning and alcohol/meth inj. and some other stuff. You'll spend less money getting the 18g with more of a guarantee in whp.
