TurboXS Stealthback with Prodrive-how loud?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to hear some opinions on this matter. I have listened to a lot of sound clips online, but I want to hear directly from you guys about your opinions.

I am thinking about getting a TurboXS Stealthback with Prodrive axleback. I want to know 3 things.
1) How loud is this set-up? Please Rate on a 1-10 scale...10 being the loudest and 1 being the quietest
2) Is this set up likely to be noticed by cops (I definitely don't want tickets for my exhaust)?
3) With an otherwise stock STi, how much power can I plan on gaining with this set up? ( I plan to get an upipe soon)

Thanks for the help

Cheers

umm if i remember correctly what makes a turbo xs stealth back is the the actual axle back that turbo xs markets for their stealth back(which is your stock sti axle back).......the piping from the dp to the mid pipe is all the same. so adding a prodrive axle back to a txs dp and mid pipe would not constitute a stealth system. hopes this helps

Just downloaded a clip

of this at home...a WRB 02/03 WRX with the same system you describe (TurboXS downpipe/Midpipe and Prodrive axleback)...I think it was made by World One Performance...

The exhaust sounded pretty loud...as stated in the reply above, the stealthback system you are talking about is the TurboXS Downpipe and Mid-pipe...but from here you can either choose the Stealthback axleback or the TurboXS RFL-Ti axleback...If you choose the catted mid-pipe option...it should cut down on the sound level considerably...just a thought if you really wanted to go this route...but from the video, if you live in a sound sensitive area...(cops that have rabbit ears) I would definitely go with the catted version...because it sounds way loud without one.

In the video, which was pretty cool, it highlighted the exhaust system...very rumbly, and chopper like...the combination sounded really good...I can only describe it as Mean! Shots of the car coming, going, and taking off...wish I could remember where and how I downloaded it...possibly off limewire...
