I finally got my Tial 44mm uppipe installed after a long weekend. So my car was tuned to 19.5 psi with a Hallman MBC and the EWG has a 1 bar spring in it. So to go out and test it to see if it functions properly thinking it should hit 14.7 psi (right?). I just direct connected the WG to the fitting on the compressor housing to get vaccum or boost reading for the WG.

Well I take it out for a drive with my Accessport hooked up to read live boost and I halfway step on it and it hit 18.XX psi and I never heard the EWG open (running dump to atmosphere).

Is there something Im missing here?

 

i think your turbo is too big. Dont worry ill trade you my vf34 and youll be alright

I think its the exact opposite. But yea I hella wanted to hear it too, thats why I went out and tried to get it to open at 1 bar.
