Truer words rarely spoken.

You will be fortunate to see anything more than 6-7 hp with a catback. HP increase with regards to exhaust comes from alleviating restriction. Your car has 2 catalytic converters which amount to HP thieves. Also, your stock pipes aren't conducive to optimal flow.

If you get a chance, pickup Modern Engine Tuning or 4 stroke performance Tuning, both by A. Graham Bell.

I for one needed slightly more flow than stock, without the legal issue of removing cats, and since I didn't want to port my wastegate, I simply got a catback, I saved a couple pounds, and it sounds ****.

Not everyone is in the position to start deleting cats...
