Get a full turbo-back...a down-pipe and cat-back exhaust. <---this is where the HP gain is at.
If you just want sound and looks just get an axle back exhaust and save some $$$

You will be fortunate to see anything more than 6-7 hp with a catback. HP increase with regards to exhaust comes from alleviating restriction. Your car has 2 catalytic converters which amount to HP thieves. Also, your stock pipes aren't conducive to optimal flow.
If you get a chance, pickup Modern Engine Tuning or 4 stroke performance Tuning, both by A. Graham Bell.

I for one needed slightly more flow than stock, without the legal issue of removing cats, and since I didn't want to port my wastegate, I simply got a catback, I saved a couple pounds, and it sounds ****.
Not everyone is in the position to start deleting cats...

yeah trying to keep the car legal...too much of a hastle for full turbo back and yeah i dont want to take out my cats...and the car has much power to boot already im sure u guys know...i use to have a 96 prelude w/ a custom hks turbo kit...boy was that fun, but not very reliable or legal...and when i took the kit off it was nothing but problems...so im jus doing stuff for flow and a lil bit of sound...u are right though...1200 is a lil much for an axleback...although it would be one of those eye catching things

"drone" is when you are cruising at a certain speed at a certain rpm and the db level is at it's loudest. Just imagine cruising on the freeway at 65-75 and having your mom nagging you constantly. I don't have any pics, but if you'd like, next time I put my car in the air, I can snap it for you.
