Question Stock BOV mod

Could you take off the stock rubbler re-circulate hose off the BOV and plug it, so that the stock BOV open atmosphere?

let me get something straight, your saying aftermarket bovs, one being open atmosphere would slow down the spool time of the turbo on any turbo charged car?

when your aftermarket bov is 100% to atmosphere, it means 0% doesnt go back into the turbo to start up the spool again. the stock bypass valve recirculates, so inbetween shifts, some of it goes back into the turbo

It recirculates into the intake track. It doesn't go into the turbo. Only exhaust gas spins a the turbo. With the stock power levels and even a little higher the stock bov is fine. With a lot of power therefore a lot of air to vent you need a bigger bov or you'll get compressor surge which is trying to stop your turbo dead then push it backwards.
