Stock 06 STi Dyno Results

Hey all,

Since we had posted the 06 WRX dyno graphs, we thought we'd also post the 06 STi dyno graphs that we had. This graph isn't nearly as intersting as the 06 WRX graph but just for reference, here it is. No AFR or direct comparo for this one though; sorry!

Thats almost depressing. It only has 10 more ft/lbs of torque the the WRX. Sad.... Good for the WRX though.

Dave

honestly i'm not suprised the engines are practically the same so I'd imagine the tq would be that close...the only things that really set these two engines apart are the bigger turbo and intercooler and a few other things.

Hmm... I feel good about my car now... Not much of a power difference.

Thats fricking SAD AS HELL! Are you running a mustang dyno. Those give the lowest numbers typically. Also remember that all cars are different (even of the same year and model). My 05 STI ran a baseline of 240 whp.

It is a Mustang dyno, typically we see around 215-225whp for Sti's so this could have been a lowish MY06. We'll post up the next one we get in as well.

That GST-Dyno is the name of the software that Gruppe-S uses....please correct me if wrong.

But that is not the model of a car.

I'm fairly certain that GST stands for Gruppe-S Tuning but I might be wrong
