sti cat location

sti cat location

where are the stock sti cats. one in the dp and one in the mid pipe right? can you use a dp with no cat and the stock midpipe with the cat and an aftermarket cat back. would that curb the boost creep. what about stock dp with a 3" custom dp back exhaust. any boost creep problems there. how about dp with 3" to the axle and then stock axle back exhaust. how about full tbe with two high flow cats. any ideas on what combos will and will not cause boost creep. thanks for the help guys. ryan

so far....a godspeed dp with stock axle back exhaust will not give you boost creep....
im not sure about the other DP's

ok thanks, i was reading on nasioc that if you keep at least one cat, then you should not get creep problems. i was thinking godspeed dp and keep the cat after that and then go custom 3".

i've got a turboxs system w/4 inch down pipe and only have problems(boost creeps") when running w/ no cats.just one fixs the creeping for me

so what if we get a catless downpipe, and a catback with a cat? would that cause boost creep?

yeah thats what im thinking, catless dp and cat midpipe and full exhaust from there
so really just get a high flow cat tbe system. thanks for the info
