Well I traded in my '03WRX for an '05STi yesterday.

When I had my '03WRX, I usually turn the steering wheel halfway to the right to make it lock when I park. Now, with the STi, it won't lock.

Does anyone know if you can still lock your steering wheel on the '05STi??

I have an '04 STi and it still has the lock.

you mean that with the key out, you can turn the wheel from lock to lock??

yes... with the key out, you can still turn the wheel...

i haven't tried turning it left though. I'll try later and let you know.

 

yeah I'm willing to bet that that thing will lock.

otherwise, take it to the dealer!

 

it locks! it locks! .... finally figured it out. You have to turn about halfway to the LEFT, not the right.
