SPT intake

so how effective is this SPT intake on STis? they're kinda pricey...are they worth it?

i searched the forums with no answer to this question...it would be awesome if someone who has it could do a quick review

Intakes are not really worth it on cars like the WRX and STi.

Just get the k&n drop in filter. I got it a couple days ago and I immediatly noticed ( not sure how to say this ) a happier car. It seemed to take off smoother and pull strong a bit closer to redline. Nothing ground breaking, but definately noticable. Autozone had the filter for $41.99.

Ingen makes an intake for the wrx STi I got mine at easystreet, works great noticed the power increase dyno test will show 15-18 hp avg but if you get it from what I have been told you can not reflash not without changing back to stock or you have alot of money to burn.
