well i was in 6th gear on the highway just cruising im trying to pass someone up so i just pushed tyhe gas a little i was like at 3,000 rpms and i hear my turbo spool up . it was not a pop noise, i lost power and the spool up of the turbo started sounding really nasty like metal chiping, i idle at -.70 bar normal idle as always but i floored it to see if something wrong and it only hits .72 bars now like 9 psi or something close to that, and it doesnt spool up till 3800 rpms, when i rev it up now you hear a metal clinking noise........any thoughts? :sadwave:

the metal chipping sound after the wastegate port is what has me worrined

where do you live?

 

Make sure that the wastegate is still connected to the actuator arm. If also could have snapped off inside the housing too. You gotta take off the downpipe and check it all out.

 

well check it out its the turbo because it doesnt spool up on time and it sounds like freeplay in the turbo they messed it up imma make them fix it, my car feels like a honda now
