running temperture 04 STi

Has anyone noticed that the running temp on there STi is a little lowert than center of the guage ?

i would go check right now, but im too lazy. if tomorrow isnt too late then ill have it then. but for now my butt isn't gunna budge unless i need to get food

Yep...runs just below 1/2 way. It has since day 1

why weird....thats the normal operating temp. read a manual or two on subaru engines and you never would have the question.

Does the Subaru come with the manual? I wouldn't know, but it sounds to me like most people wouldnt have the ENGINE manual on hand to check their normal running temp question. Please, stop being a jerk to people with valid questions.

this being my 4th subaru , I disagree, both 2.5 RS's and my wrx ran normal almost dead center all the time

Ah yes grasshopper....but he's asking about the STi....not an RS or WRX. Just a tad below center is normal on the STi. I've been in several and they all ride there.

its normal its anywhere from 187 deg f up to 204 deg f acording to what my psi secs ecu monitor reads.

yup its the same in my STi...right above the first hash mark. i wouldn't worry about it being broken.
