perrin blow thru on aps fmic?
has anybody done this i was talking to ed at eq and he was saying to do it .. the only thing i am tripping about is how much i will have to cut off for it to fit the pipe it is replacing.. looking at getting the aps dr 525 fmic and installing the perrin blow thru tube.. any help will greatly be apprecialted..
Perrin is a vendor on here, and I am sure their solution would be to use a Perrin intercooler, but you may want to ask them anyways to see if there is any specific reason why not to do it.

it is much cheaper and easier to use the perrin fmic with the blow thru maf tube
IMO the stealth factor of the aps fmic doesn't outweigh the price and headaches it will cause you
good luck

Doesn't really matter where it enters/exits the IC. The air goes through many tubes within the intercooler. Plus with all the turbulence and speed of the air within your intake system, there won't be any time to have the dense (cooler) air settle to the bottom of any tube.
