Are they any benifits to getting the new designed hks ssqv bov other than the looks... Does it sound diff. or what?

 

probably sounds the same but our cars do not need a BOV. We use bypass valves sending that air back into the system rather than sending it out into the air. Makes the car rich for that moment also some people have idle problems. Save your money and just buy it used if you really want one.

 

could access port tuning fix that problem?

 

Get a bypass valve that sends the air back into
the system unless you enjoy running rich between
shifts and losing performance at the same time.
Some people willing to give up performance for
that sound I guess.
