I bought an SSAC FMIC for 350 shipped for everything. Works well IMO. Reviews say so also.

 

Which turbo?

 

lol. Ya, forgot abt asking that. You may want to go with a front mount if you have say an 18g or bigger.

 

How did you order the ssac front mount? Their website only has it for $795 now!

 

If you also have a smaller turbo and want a FMIC I would go with something that has narrow pipes and a small core.

how about hks fmic kit? heard there pretty up there as far as performace wise

 

those are pretty dope too, either one, but im still partial to ARC

 

reason i suggest it is because im gettin that kit installed on my 06 sti very shortly.....i'll be runnin the hks fmic with my stock turbo for now untill i get the fp red tubro. i have ap verison 2 along with tbe....so maybe i'll see a little difference for now but im not expecting alot...not till i get my bigger turbo that is. just slowly building her up...all i need after my turbo is fuel pump, injectors and a tune then i'll be runnin like a champ!

 

I have the APR D/R 725 in black on my 06 STi. It's the largest fmic available, and you can keep your foglights. It's big enough for ANY turbo, so you would never have to upgrade your fmic. I'm running a Deadbolt 20G right now.

 

going fmic, you would definately have to get either 20g or bigger
