JIC exhaust TI 8lbs ??
Is the JIC Catback exhaust TI exhaust the lightest out there for 04STI (8lbs). Vivid dyno said 13 whp. Is JIC the lightest out there? and is this a better choice than TXS's TBE (whats it weight) that has been said to add 27 whp?
thanks again guys for helping out with all the newbe questions?

I do beleive the JIC Ti exhaust is the lightest out there right now. It is however expenseve. As for whp the JIC Ti is only a cat back where the TXS is a tubo back exhaust. I would buy a godspeed downpipe for the JIC Ti once the boost creep issue is solved and you will be making as much whp as the TXS.

I installed a JIC Titanium Bullet in my 2000 RS. Its fit and finish is awesome. It mated perfectly to the Random Technolgy cat and weighs 13 lbs. It sounds louder than any after market axelback i've heard, the supplied bolt in silencer reduces the exhaust about 10 db, but also severly retricts the power. I run without the silencer and satisfied with the extra power gained. One big draw back, the burnt blue 4" titanium tip and the exhaust sound draws the cops like free donuts.
