Sorry if this are dumb question; I've search but I cann't seem to find anything or I just get confused.

1. Do all JDM downpipes replace the stock midpipe and stock downpipe; which brand replaces both and which just makes the downpipe.
2. If they do replace both midpipe and downpipe, do they make downpipes with one catalytic converter, or are all catless.
3. Are the Jdm downpipes shorter than USDM.

It might be a bit difficult to find specific info on Japanese aftermarket downpipes, why exactly are you asking about JDM aftermarket downpipes instead of all the aftermarket downpipes that are available here in the US?

 

The reason why I'm asking about the JDM downpipes, is because I want to get the Fujitsubo Super Ti Cat-back system. And I read somewhere that it will need a JDM downpipe in order to fit right. Thanks.

 

the jdm downpipes are shorter than usdm. the OEM jdm downpipe has only one catalytic and is one piece.

 

it would still probably be much morepractical for you to pat a muffler shop $30 to shorten a US style down pipe than trying to find a japanese downpipe.
