does anyone have the injen phantom front mount? is this a good front mount to get?

 

looks good id like to see it mounted on someones car. was thinking about getting it myself

 

The shop that I do alot of my tuning through, just tuned an 05 STI with a front mount Injen IC. Regardless of the FP Green turbo, he couldn't get enough flow through the FMIC to pull more than 310 whp.

If you set the Injen next to a Perrin or similar, its about 1/2 the thickness. I say stay away from the Injen - Not a fan!

i was reading up on it and it isnt rated for that high of a hp anyway. if i was going with a fp green id go with the perrin n e way

 

I have one IMOP i'd get one if you are going to stay with a stock turbo, you get almost no lag. I can't say what happens with a bigger turbo, But if you get a bigger turbo and a bigger FMIC then you will get more lag. I would ride in someones car who has the setup you are looking at doing. a lot of people talk but it's only hearsay. I'm very happy with my car is quick, at Cal Spd Way infield track I passed all but 1 person in 116 degree track temp. BTW the one person I coudn't pass was a simi-pro open wheel racer.
