Hybrid 2.5L with e85 and cutout

Well I'm buying a 2.5 block for my 04 wrx and I want to know how much power can I put down with my stock clutch, tranny, center diffs, and stock
turbo? What do i need to put 450whp in the future, what would I need then?

Thanks, Eric

From personal experience, avoid the Hybrid route.

These two posts go well together. Avoid what you were thinking, and either a) buy an STi for a bigger build, or b) buy an Evo (with the 5spd for ****'s sake), and mod it.

Judging by all the great results the Evo's have had with E85 tuning (including i-club's own ssteve), you'd be able to spend hardly anything, buying some fuel upgrades, headers, and exhaust, and with tuning you'll be making more than some bolt-on turbo STi's; all for less money to boot.

^hybrid herb strains are never to be avoided.

hybrid block-head pairings are to be scrutinized, because the engineering required is sometimes overlooked. Done right they can scream, done wrong they can ream.
