Why don't you go down to the dealership and take a look at them?

 

they kind of snap in. And they cover your fog lights so that rocks won't damage the lenses. As a result, though, you can't use your fog lights and no, they are not retractable. To be honest, I'm not even all that sure that the STi comes with fog lights installed - anyone know the answer to this?

Obviously the best bet would be to have some kind of mesh fog light cover like they have for the 01-03 models, but as far as I know, this is not yet available. I've thought about custom making a set, but that would require getting an extra set of fog light covers to play around with, and it doesn't really look all that easy to do, without it looking like crap. But who knows, if I can find a cheap set...

They pull right off. The STi does not come with foglights.

 

exactly. usdm sti's never came with any fog lights standard. the covers are there so there is not fat holes in your bumper

 

and if you plan on foglights, go JDM because they look better, just make sure you get the bumper beam too. and prior to buying check out our Suby Shopping
